P1AA2 fault code

Hi there, I have a Peugeot partner tepee that I use as a taxi. All of a sudden my taxi wouldn’t start in the morning. I called RAC out they said the battery needed replacing which they did. The next day the car wouldn’t start again. The rac called out again they tested the battery which they said was ok and the alternator. They plugged it in and this code came up P1AA2. I have taken it to a few garages including Peugeot. I’ve been told it needs a new BSI unit. I’ve also been told it could be the external equipment such as the metre but I have had the fuse taken out. Not sure what to do. Also is a new BSI unit going to cost a bit and will definitely sort my issue out or is it all trial and error
