Which engine for 508 MK1 2012-2014

Good Morning,

My current 508 was hit by another car, I have to scrape it. I'll look for another car. Which engine is most reliable? So far I used 2x 508 Hybrid4. First 220k miles, second 250k - engine still in good condition. Only thing I can complain is gearbox and speed of changing gears - my grandfather changing gears faster ;) ( I'm not joking). Which version, engine, gearbox will be best?

That is a very subjective question, it depends on your expectation from the engine - economy, sustainability, power, smoothness, ease of maintenance, cost of parts etc. are all things which come into that decision so you really need to identify your preferences before considering the options. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
