307 accelarator

Hi,307 1.6petrol-starts,ticks over,butno response when pedal pressed,just as if cable not connected,but no cable ,its by wire checked all connections,fuses etc,also emmission control warning message displayed. any ideas before i shell out a fortune many thanks Tim.

On 'drive-by-wire' throttle controls there's an accelerator pedal position sensor - at least there is on diesels. Maybe it is this that's not sending out signals. Check it either by swopping with another unit or using dealer's diagnostic equipment.

Emmision control warning light on & no throttle = Trip to Peugeot dealer & latest BSI software download.

SORTED-SHORT CIRCUIT CAUSED BY SMALL DINT IN ECU CASING.(PREVIOUSLY HAD LIGHT FRONT BUMP)THANKS FOR REPLIES.
