FD7A ECU internal error Fault

Unread post by x7c5XK »

Hi,

I have a motorised boot that does not work. It only works manually. I hear two beeps when pressing the open or close switch.
"FD7A ECU internal error" is the fault that is coming up when diagnosed. Anyone have any ideas what this fault could mean?

P.S. I messaged Marc in private seeking for help but I don't know if that message went through as I cannot find it anywhere in the folders

It wouldn't matter whether it went through or not as Marc has pulled away from the forum for the time being. And anyway, he asked people not contact him via PMs with problems.

Regarding the tailgate problem, how old is the battery? Is that the only error code? What are you using to diagnose the system? Is the error temporary or permanent and what happens if you delete it?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

Sorry, I did not know that Marc is away.

The battery is around 3 years old. The only error code is that and it is permanent, I cannot delete it. We tried Diagbox and another tool which I dont know the name of.
