Hi,
I have bought a scanner with Diagbox 9.85 software and Super CAN VCI driver. The scanner gets recognized, license is valid. Got a laptop with windows 7 32bit. In 9.85 I couldn't get past the screen where you select between Lexia or Scantool. Selecting Lexia for the first time after opening the Diagbox, it asks for a RPO, I enter that and then it returns to the Lexia/Scantool selection.
I then downloaded Diagbox 7.02 (currectly updated to 7.11). Lexia now opens, but is showing me an error The communication card is incorrectly initialised. The tool must be restarted.
I tried unplugging USB and plugging it back, tried removing and reinstalling drivers, nothing helps.
Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Just to clarify, on your last picture there is a 'Validate to switch off tool' button. Did you press that?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

That appears to not even be a button, I try clicking it but nothing happens. Only thing I can do here is press Enter or click the top red button to close Lexia and go back to selection screen.

Are you running this on virtual machine?
Your best bet maybe to get an old windows XP laptop & install Lexia on that. really easy, no cracks or altering license, just a simple ask-answer code on first installation.

Re: Diagbox + Lexia on Xsara 2000
I actually gave up on this, just took the package to return it and get money back. When I tried to do a firmware downgrade with interface checker, it gave error INIT KO, so that wasn't possible either. The diagbox couldn't read the car VIN at any point, but entering it manually, it went to next screen. The blinking light gave some indication of data being read/transmitted, but no more than that.
Any advice on what to buy to actually make it work would be appreciated!
