Peugeot 206 1.4 hdi
Hello everybody.I have a problem with a peugeot 206 1.4 hdi. Before 3 weeks ago We have to much humidity in Cyprus, and in the morning I go to start the car she won't start.I try another one time I hold a long time to crank and the engine start, until now everything good,I go to work for 5 days and the car start like normal,in 5 th day when I finish work the car won't start,I took the car to my mechanic,we change crank position sensor and won't start, after the mechanic put some easy start spray and the car started.I drive the car for a month and in one weekend the car sits parked, and Monday I want to go work and it won't start.I take the car to the guys that fix diesel pumps and injectors and they said that the problem it my be from electric side because the diagnostic tool cannot communicate with the car ECU.Any help will be highly appreciated.Thank you guys and have a good day.

If the Diagnostic tool won't connect to the system and the fault is intermittant, you could have a bit of trouble getting to the bottom of this. Because the car started with easystart it suggests that you are lacking an initial fuel supply when the car has been standing. To me that suggests you may have a leak in the fuel lines allowing air into the fuel line which, over a period, works its way up to the HP pump and injector lines and hence it doesn't start due to air in the injectors. Once started on easystart it runs and pumps long enough to get fuel through.
So I'd suggest two courses of action. Firstly do a BSi reset and then see if the diag kit will connect and secondly inspect the fuel supply system from tank to Engine looking for signs of diesel leakage showing where air may get in.. good luck

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

The car is fixed. It was oxidation on the fuse box.I remove all the fuses and clean with contact cleaner and car os starting again.
