Hi!
First post here! I sold my beloved RCZ this spring, and bought a 2012 Peugeot Expert which I’ve since converted to a campervan. I’ve driven it about 15 000km.
The service engine light has been coming on intermittently during the spring, reporting p0488. I haven’t seen it for a month or so though.
A few weeks ago the car would start warning about the dpf clogging. I drive almost exclusively 1h+ on highway.
A bit after this, it also started saying that the eolys needed refill.
I refilled the eolys, and bought an icarsoft to reset the metre. The refill warning is gone, but i keep getting warnings about clogging, that goes away after an hour drive. I checked the pressure of the dpf yesterday at idle, after driving. And it was at 5milibar.
So, as far as i understand, the dpf and regeneration works fine, but it cloggs up again really quickly.
A diagnostic scan returns the following codes:
P1498: Air Mixer
P1442: Additive Pump Connected By Wire
P0500: Intersystems CAN
The third code seems unrelated, but p1442 seems to indicate that the pump to the additive tank dont work. I guess that could explain why the dpf cloggs, but it seems strange that the regeneration would work, not to mention that i ran ouf of eolys. A full 3l went into the tank.
I would be very happy for any suggestions of how to go about further diagnostics!
Warm regards
Joakim

How many kilometres has the vehicle done?

It's very likely that the DPF is is need of replacement or a proper, off the vehicle, reverse flush cleaning. If your diagnostic machine can monitor (and record) the system then you should be able to see the back pressure across the DPF.
This is strongly indicated by this.

Thank you for your reply!
The pressure in the dpf at idle was 5mb.
I didnt check at higher rpms though, ill do that tonight. Hopefully i can get a chance to remove and do a manual clean of the dpf this weekend.
