.pdf file attachments are now allowed on the forum

Following a couple of recent requests, the forum admins have re-visited our policy on .pdf attachments and they are now enabled.

Any uploaded attachments must be relevant to the post and topic that they are placed in, and will be retrospectively moderated if necessary.

Note that where a post containing a .pdf link is quoted, the link is only active in the original post, not the quoted version.

Note that .pdf attachments do not display inline, they are links that open a new browser page. This is a limitation of the forum software (and browser compatibility issues).
