Hello, does anyone have the policy wording for the DS automobiles 8 year / 100,000 miles Electric Vehicle Warranty for the battery by any chance? I'm thinking there must be specific parts surrounding the battery that will (or won't) be included. I've contacted DS and initially they have just forwarded me to this webpage: https://www.dsautomobiles.co.uk/owners/ ... nties.html
This page only includes this text related to the battery warranty:
"In addition to the above cover, DS Automobiles guarantees the traction battery of your DS electric or hybrid vehicle for 8 years".
They also refer me to the handbook, which doesn't mention anything about the warranty. I also have a "Maintenance and Warranty Guide", which also doesn't include any policy wording.

Hi
If you look at the bottom of the site in the link below you will find a number of contact points within Stellantis, one of whom should be able to tell you the terms and conditions. Good luck

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Thank you for pointing me to these contacts, much appreciated. I have contacted the Stellantis ones. Do you know if it's worth contacting the Citroen ones regarding DS automobiles or is this now officially a separate brand and Citroen won't want to know?

DS is now a separate marque within Stellantis.

Re: 8 year / 100,000 miles Electric Vehicle Warranty
Just on a wider point and the reason I'm searching for policy wording, I'm concerned I may have a problem with my Onboard Charger (OBC), and the car is 3 years 8 months old. I've discovered to my disappointment this is potentially a very expensive fix but also there seems to be mounting complaints against this part failure across, what I assume is, the Common Modular Platform of Stellantis vehicles, that used the Mahle onboard charger around year 2021.
A Dutch TV consumer program apparently achieved some acceptance of guilt from Mahle and they increased their manufacturer warranty from 2 to 4 years in the Netherlands: but I haven't found any info on the UK market.
Interestingly, this year, there is a press release for Peugeot on the Stellantis website for their new 8 year warranty and it's the only wording I've seen that references an "Onboard Charger":
https://www.media.stellantis.com/uk-en/ ... -traveller
The wording states:
"PEUGEOT CARE offers the best peace of mind coverage in Europe. It covers the electric motor, onboard charger, transmission, and all the key electrical and mechanical components for up to 8 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first."
But this is 2025 and a press release.
I'm hoping that the original electric battery warranty for these cars also include the Onboard charger, especially considering it appears this is a wide manufacturer fault.

Hi, not sure this helps but, page 3 of the warranty paperwork i received when I bought my car.
This was taken from a 2022 issue.
Also, i may be wrong, but I thought these Mahle on board chargers were being replaced, as a recall item, maybe worth checking out.

Re: 8 year / 100,000 miles Electric Vehicle Warranty
Thank you Stu, this is hopeful as your Citroen warranty specifically mentions the onboard charger and if anyone has this information for their warranty paperwork for a DS that would be ideal. I haven't come across it as a recall item but will look into this more.
I unfortunately do not have any warranty information for this car (bought used 3 years old) but I am trying to get policy documents. However, DS customer services have all collectively forwarded me to this single page (https://www.dsautomobiles.co.uk/owners/ ... nties.html). And unless I'm missing something obvious it contains the grand total of a single heading and sentence about the 8 year battery warranty:
"BATTERY WARRANTY: 8 YEARS. In addition to the above cover, DS Automobiles guarantees the traction battery of your DS electric or hybrid vehicle for 8 years."
But no less than 3 people (including one of the Stellantis contacts mickthemaverick kindly forwarded me to today) all responded with this link when I asked for policy documents/wording.

Re: 8 year / 100,000 miles Electric Vehicle Warranty
Hi. this is a duplicate post from the other thread of me specifically asking for a copy of the terms but applies to this threat too and is related to Stu's Citroen warrant screenshot above.
For anyone who's interest now or in the future, the last few days has been quite frustrating dealing with DS Automobiles customer services, it was like pulling teeth. With some perseverance, today I received a DS Warranty Terns & Conditions PDF. This appears not to be available online anywhere so it's good progress but it's the general Warranty terms not specific to the 8 year / 100,000 mile battery warranty for electric vehicles.
Incidentally and it's probably good news, is it is identical to the Peugeot and Citroen warranty terms and conditions, which they have freely available on their websites.
I've asked for clarification on this vague section below, as I'm interested in the onboard charger and what the warranty terms are around this.
I can attach the warranty terms PDF here for others who may be interested or need it, but the post attachments says PDF extensions are not allowed. Is there a preferred way to attached PDFs on this forum?

Re: 8 year / 100,000 miles Electric Vehicle Warranty
Just an update on this for anyone interested or for people looking in the future. DS checked my onboard charger and confirmed it was failed at the end of August. At the time the special/specific warranty for this component was 4 years (60k) and I was just within this warranty and it was replaced free of charge. Due to parts delivery and timeslot availability at the dealer this took about 9 weeks all together.
My understanding is that the specific/special warranty is changing constantly and was 5 years (100k) but had changed to 4 years (60k) and may be different now for all I know.
But it's certainly worth checking and it's a component that is not limited to the 3 year manufacturer warranty.
Overall I'm quite happy with the service and of course relieved I was lucky enough to be covered within this special warranty with no qualms.
