Boxer 2.2 2017 DRL light problem

Unread post by Rafik7979 »

Hi everyone, and thank you for accepting me.

The patient is a **2017 Peugeot Boxer 2.2**.
The issue is that one of the daytime running lights (DRLs) isn't working—the one on my right side (passenger side, since the car is in the UK). Here's what I've checked so far:
- The bulbs are OK.
- The wiring and connectors to the BSI are OK (checked both sides).
- All fuses have been tested.
- The contacts have been inspected.

If I connect the right-side lamp to the left-side wiring, it works—so the lamp itself is fine.
I traced the wires back to the BSI, and on the working side, there's 12V, but on the non-working side, there's no voltage coming out of the BSI.

Please guide me on where to look next.
If I manually apply 12V to the wire from the BSI, the lamp lights up.

Additional note: When I turn on the low beams, both sides work normally.
Why isn’t the BSI sending power to one side for the DRLs?

Let me know if you'd like any refinements or further clarification!

Regards
Rafal

The first thing to do is carry out a Bsi reset following the procedure in the link below. Once done try it again and if it is still faulty then it seems likely that the Bsi has a fault on it. A full diagnostic with Diagbox should help prove that:
