hi i have a 98 306 td and was wondering if there was anyway of increasing power eg. take limiter off or dump valve any ideas welcome

u need to have the fuelling and boost adjusted

Dont take the limiter off otherwise your engine will go bang, it really is needed on a diesel as they will just keep on reving without it, and as for the dump valve, what dump valve ??, diesels dont need them!!, the air inlet isnt throttled like a petrol is so there is no pressure buildup to vent off

The only way i know, is to alter the throttle stop screw, but the 306TD is fast enough, and wouldn't recomend it, especially if you're about to take it for an MOT.

hi try these people allard turbo sport i own a 306 td and have ha a lot of tunning work done by them and the have made my fast the mods are dead easy increase boost and fueling and it wont affect the mot
