2017 Citroen Berlingo 1.6 BlueHDI Flair with wheelchair conversion
Hi – I bought this back in April and on my way home the engine warning light (orange triangle) came on. It had been standing for a few months and the likely cause was poor battery, so carried on home. No noticeable loss in power, rough running, poor starting or any other symptoms at all. Had the battery checked out, it’s fine. Since then I’ve probably put 2k miles on it, still with the warning light on, and now the parking sensors only work intermittently and recently the tyre inflation light has come on – but all the tyre pressures are OK.
Finally decided to get a Diagbox and read the fault codes (sw version 9.85). There’s 519 of them recorded, but none of them seem to be recognized. In summary there are 8 different ones:
050B the fault code is unknown. As the ECU does not conform, the mileage may be incorrect
9BD3 the fault code is unknown. As the ECU does not conform, the mileage may be incorrect
ABC8 the fault code is unknown. As the ECU does not conform, the mileage may be incorrect
F40A oil gauge fault. not characterised. local
F5FF Unexpected re-initialisation fault coming from the BSI. not characterised local
F974 the fault code is unknown.
F9A0 the fault code is unknown.
FFB3 the fault code is unknown.
The MoT mileage history seems to support the indicated kilometerage
I can’t find any help for 050B, F974, F9A0, FFB3
F40A is apparently just engine too warm to report oil level
I see from the Forum that 9BD3 and ABC8 are related to a parking sensor issue
F5FF may be related to Addblue if the level has been reset but not topped up?
Are these problems due to a mismatched ECU, or is there some other issue?
Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks - Tony

Re: Berlingo diagnostics
Welcome along
Delete all the fault codes, and then run it for a bit to see which come back. There are often lots of random codes in these modern cars which are due to slight battery voltage fluctuations, or having the battery off.

Re: Berlingo diagnostics
After checking the tyre pressures you need to initialise the TPMS again via a menu on the car. It will be in the handbook how to do it. Also check all the tyres are the same size and they are equally worn.
