Wipers not parking stop all over the screen.Turbo pump.

Hi all any advice on wipers won't go back to park stop anywhere on the screen it likes,no intermittent and no automatic working,quick wipe works 1/2 speed work but like I said park anywhere they like ..also turbo coolant pump open circuit..any relays or pump gone, is it easy to change out? Thanks for any help looking to buy car but if it's going to be a money pit may not bother.

If these issues were on a car I was thinking of buying I would walk away, plenty more fish in the sea!!

I suppose it depends on how much cheaper than normal the vehicle is. And then how good your fixing skills are!

May offer £500 as its booked in for airbag been off road a year..going back to wipers is it all controlled though fuse box unit bmi .. thing no codes coming up for it... how much are they? anyone else had issues like this..and what was the fix..turbo pump i can change about £90 for one..

Often wipers not working properly needs a new motor to fix them so you would need to cost one and time to fit. The dealer should be able to give a price.

Turbo coolant pump again may need a new one.

How old is the car, how many miles and which engine does it have ? Possibly these repairs are expensive or the previous owner would have fixed them.

1.6 turbo 2010 82.000 miles wiper motor seems fine it just doesn't know where to park, surely you guys out there have had a similar experience...last pug I had i had to change over fuse box as it I think relays underneath? And how to get to turbo coolant pump is it bumper off or get to it underneath?

Suggesting the wiper motor being at fault is just based on my experience from wipers that have not parked properly or done their own thing. Something in the motors knows the wiper position so switches them.

he owner says she had a new fitted...but don't know how good it was so may try another..
