Need some help with my ds5 diesel 2.0 sport
Can some tell me how long it would take see photo take to get like this and should it of been found on a major service

That shows the signs of a loose injector which has been like it for some time, I have no idea whether a major service includes a check of the injectors but hopefully someone else will be able to answer that. 
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Is that diesel or engine oil?

If hidden under a cover that is not removed during servicing then it is unlikely to be noticed. How long ago is it since the service, if the leak can be noticed outside of a cover then you could guess it has happened since then.
