Park Assist activates but no guidance appears on dashboard

I press the "Park Assist" button on the steering wheel, and the options for park assistance appear correctly on the touchscreen (see image attached).

After I select an option, a green indicator also appears on the dashboard

However, the system does not show the next instructions on the dashboard — nothing happens after that.

Any ideas on what might be missing or misconfigured?

Having selected the manoeuvre you want what happens when you start to reverse the car?

I would suggest you have the car diagnosed to see if the system is enabled and the sensors are all working as well as the speaker. It may be worth going through a BSi reset first just in case it clears the problem.

Test of parking sensors is OK!
