Peugeot 807 al4 pressure regulation fault
Hello. I own multiple cars with this gearbox which I am maintaining but this one gives me a headache. At 300000k km i replaced both main valves (still old style cause near me is no Peugeot dealer to update sw in gearbox ecu) because pressure regulation fault and gearbox was in limp mode, replaced oil, replaced oil pressure sensor (was showing 12 bar permanently). After replacement, pressure was OK (max 0.2bar difference between real and called pressure) My wife drove the car for 10k km for past 3 months and today I got again p1167 fault. I checked oil level-OK, i checked pressure using diagbox - if car calls for example 3 bar, real time pressure is jumping from 2.5-3.3 bar. Which is propably the cause. Is there any way to check where the fault could be? Is there a way to check valves(bought esen SKV) if they bx any chance failed? Or is there something I should check? Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately your diagnostic kit is not displaying English so not much help to us. If you can get it in English then post it up again and maybe someone will spot the problem
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

The modulator electro valves are not of high quality. I know of cases where brand new genuine valves were faulty out of the box!
Did you keep the original valve? It could be that there was nothing wrong with it.
If your car is newer than 'about' 2003 it will be running the "new" software and can run the valves with black connectors.

Hello, totally forgot I posred there. So the fault was in oil pressure sensor-which was by the way new. Sometimes it measured incorrectly-instead of 3.5bar it showed 8 for a second, the gearbox went into the limp mode. Replaced the pressure sensor again, gearbox is running like new
I also went to friend of mine who is working in peugeot. According the OPR number, my car from late 2007 should had use still old style valves and SW, but after checking, we found that it was already shipped with new style valves and SW in gearbox computer.
Also find out how to recognize old and new valves. Either by conenctor color, old one have white connector and have 12.5ohm. New ones are black and around 1.5ohms
