DS3 Radio not turning on!!

Has anyone had this issue before?

My DS3’s (13 reg, airdream Dsport e-Hdi) radio has suddenly stopped turning on. The display turns on when I start my car to show the date and time however when pressing the button on the radio it won’t turn on. I can click source but the first option to do with the radio is blurred out and will only let me select the other 3 options. Volume works fine etc it’s literally just the radio won’t turn on.

The only way I’ve managed to get around it is by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery which isn’t exactly a solution. This works for a little while then it does back to not turning on.

Bluetooth still works when the radio isn’t working if that’s worth mentioning.

Can anyone give me any ideas on what might be causing this? Could it be a battery issue or wiring? Thanks

Is the touch screen working ? On our 308 that stopped working and it needed a new radio, the Peugeot dealer did the diagnostic to show this. Unfortunately a new radio was about £1500 with fitting and programming. Until fixed the radio did come on but only the volume worked and it was not possible to change stations.

The screen isn’t a touch screen, just a display screen (I’ll try and post an example pic) which turns on when you turn the car on and shows the date and time like it always has but when you go to turn the radio on the button just does not work

One solution might be to get a used radio, they do not seem to cost too much but it will need your car vin putting in to it via a diagnostic or it will keep beeping. One example on ebay but you would need to check if it is correct for your car. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/167469174273 ... R6arkcL1ZQ
