C3 ecu/engine swap

Unread post by Ethelred »

Hello, I have a c3 with an̈ebo 1 litre engine thats blown. So i have fitted a 1.4 engine from an earlier model. I have swapped the engine loom. But my problem is with the ecu. The original one has a different size plug on one if the leads, so obviously doesn't fit. How do I rewire it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you post your VIN, which will be concealed from general view, someone may be able to offer you the ECU wiring diagram but at the moment we don't have access to the Stellantis database to find it for you I'm afraid! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

How do you intend to pair the "new" engine ECU to the BSI? Or did you buy a "kit"?
Why did you swap the engine loom? There is very little difference between the TU1 and TU3 engines. You shouldn't need to swap the engine looms.
Is the "different size plug" on the loom that goes to the engine or the loom that goes to the car?
Are the new and old ECU's different brands?
