Apologies if already asked and answered. Peugeot 207 SW 2013. Having radio issues, fitted new head-unit double and triple checked the wiring even installed a Bluetooth unit behind the head with ferrite core rings as was experiencing interference. as the weeks have gone on am getting fewer and fewer stations on both normal radio FM and DAB. should i suspect the pre amp if fitted is there a way of testing or just fit new or the Ariel. Does it mean ripping the c-pillar panel off.
When the head was in my Ford Focus it worked brilliantly without issue even getting some far flung FM station i would never have expected, so doubt its the head.
Some days it sounds like its underwater and others just "no signal " just down to about 6 of each FM and DAB.
Thanks for any assist.

Re: Radio Woes
I'd suspect the aerial. DAB bubbles like its underwater with a weak signal. I fitted a DAB radio to my 2004 car, Nothing DAB through the cars aerial despite working fine out of the car with a 1980s aerial. Apparently some cars have filters to prevent FM interference, these also filter out DAB radio. I now use a windscreen aerial. Do you have an old loose aerial that you can try?
edit. Just remembered some aerials need to be boosted which are powered through the aerial cable with the power supplied by the radio unit. Check the radio settings to see if the aerial power is on or off.
