I think Jeremy's question could be applied to all of the excrescences on this BX..... but the lump on the bonnet looks like a lifejacket to me. One would probably be more useful than the excuse for an induction kit it probably is.....

I saw this BX for sale on the belgian ebay pages when I was looking for my latest BX to buy. (picked up a 1994 M reg estate for £100 on British ebay 2 days ago, what a bargain)

you would only be disapointed as there is no aircon fitted, you have to make do with frozen ice packs on the seats.
