Afternoon all, hope you're enjoying the sunshine!
I have two VCIs and have tried multiple methods of installing Diagbox (VM and directly onto W10)
One VCI flashes blue but is not recognised in either Diagbox, and the other shows a green light on plugging USB in but then gives the USB device not recognised warning - I have tried installing VCI drivers and tried another laptop and am now completely out of ideas.
What should my next steps be please?

Re: Diagbox Installs, VCI not recognised
Sounds like a pair of dodgy VCIs Tom, they should be recognised in Windows 10 without the need for any particular drivers.
In Windows Device Manager the VCI should be listed as an Actia device and will be obvious.
If this is not so then assume they are faulty.
Where did you source these VCIs from?

One worked in the past for a C2 and a DS3 but I think the laptop I used has long since been put the pasture.
I can do a Windows 7 install on a HP Elitebook G5 if that helps? Could someone link to a few Diagbox installs for me to try please?

What version Diagbox are you trying to use Tom?

Whatever would allow me to code the radio on a 13 DS3 and a key on a 62 DS5 Jim!

Re: Diagbox Installs, VCI not recognised
I used 7.58 to pair a new key on my 63 C5 and do other things no problem.
I paired the radio in a car that a FCF member had a problem with but I can't remember what or its year!
It failed to pair a key on my 15 308 but has worked for most other things I've asked it to do including coding in a replacement fuel injector. It's obviously on the limit though as it doesn't auto-identify the engine ECU and I have to choose the correct one from a list. It also doesn't recognise some of the other ECUs.
