Nemo speed sensor location

Unread post by Danovan »

Hello,
Can someone tell me the location of the speed sensor in Citroen Nemo 1.3hdi with semi automatic gearbox?
The VIN nr. is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
After I replaced the clutch set, the car is not driving😊
After diagnosing it this fault code appeared (P2062 vehicle speed data fault, signal inconsistent)
probably the speed sensor is faulty?!

The car have 5 faults. Actualy I was thinking to solve the speed issue at first!
the faults are:
P1981
C1681
P2062
C0414
P1079

Can you also put the fault descriptions along with the P/C codes.
Most people wont know the codes off by heart & save people having to look up what they actually mean.

Most cars now dont have separate speed sensors, road speed information is normally measure by the ABS system.

P1981 Fault In The Information Transmitted By Engine ECU. Engine Friction Torque Invalid

P1681 ESP ECU Signal Fault. Signal Invalid In ESP Operation.

C0414 Oil Preasure Sensor Fault. Short Circuit Earth Or Open Short Circuit.

P1079 Clutch Fault. Michanical Failure

P2062 Vehicle Speed Data Fault, Signal Inconsistent
-_-

After that I selected the ABS for faults and found this:

P184B ABS ECU Overheating. Local

What scanner are you using ? Just asking since a search on P2062 comes up with a different definition such as
P2062 means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected no voltage in the control circuit for the reductant/regeneration supply pump

Do you have the description that the Launch gives with the error code?

I don't have more than this:
P2062 Vehicle Speed Data Fault, Signal Inconsistent

By every code the device gives a short desctription, as all the other faults. And they are all temporary! I think a faulty speed sensor is causing electrical fault by the ESP ECU and the transmission and also a mechanical clutch fault or a mechanical fault inside the transmission leads to not engaging to any speed manualy aor automaticaly! I removed the transmission 2 times! but at the first time I didn't have a "good" diagnostic tool.

Those are the other faults😁

P1981 Fault In The Information Transmitted By Engine ECU. Engine Friction Torque Invalid

P1681 ESP ECU Signal Fault. Signal Invalid In ESP Operation.

C0414 Oil Preasure Sensor Fault. Short Circuit Earth Or Open Short Circuit.

P1079 Clutch Fault. Michanical Failure

https://catalogs.ssg.asia/citroen/?lang ... I9PQ%3D%3D
Speed sensor is position 13 .
There is also :

Check the cables before you buy, it's an expensive part.
