Peugeot 3008 hybrid 4
Hi I am new to this forum but am desperate for answers to the following issues, the stop lights up on the instrument panel and cuts the engine. After turning it off and waiting for the stop message to go out it will restart and run normally. It comes up with crank position sensor and camshaft position errors. It has been to main dealers and had both sensors replaced along with the magnetic ring on the crank. It has also had the alternator belt tensioner replaced along with an ECU software update which seemed to have resolved the issues. After 300+ miles it came up with the same issues again but this was the first day it rained after a long dry spell. This made me suspect there maybe a water ingress issue with the electrics and while investigating this theory I noticed the nearside scuttle drain was incorrectly fitted and causing water to run down the inner wing where all the electrics are located. Is it possible that this can be the cause of the issues I have experienced and has anybody had similar issues. Any help would be appreciated

Welcome along
Water ingress could certainly cause this sort of issue - what age / engine are we talking about?
