Centre console
I have just bought a 2016 DS5. The centre console near the window switches seem to have an opaque film which is beginning to peel and crack. Is this a film which should have been removed, if not is there anything I can do to improve the appearance?

same issue found on a friends ds5. the 2 sides were removed and repainted with a pretty close colour match at a local body shop.

My 2017 DS5 is the same i was gonna take them off and wrap them with a matt black vinyl... when I get time that is lol
