Edc15c2 wiring question

Im trying to wire an edc15c2 ecu for my engine conversion. The main 30 amp feed to the fuel pump relay, is that a switched live or permanent live as its throwing a code on PP2000 saying ignition positive inactive. I've wired it to permanent live. Im assuming it needs to be switched live via a relay?
