what should you beware of with these cars?
If i bought one would it cost a fortune to keep it on the road?
I have seen one with low milage one owner from new near me price is good also.
Too good to be true?[8]

Assuming that you are au fait with the BX and all the usual citroen "features":
Beware the exhaust which is rare and pricey. The gearboxes and transfer boxes can get abused and trashed, too. They are expensive. If the exhaust and transmission are both good then they can be fun. Otherwise buy it for somebody you don't like.

ok its dark metallic blue, full service history, 61000 miles, one owner from new.1990 on a H
In pictures i have seen looks excellent , no problems expressed in ad. obviously bearing in mind the piont you have mentioned & if they are ok =
£495 is the asking price.
is it worth a gamble?

my boss done a clutch change on one of these years ago, he sed both gear and transfer box neaded to come out and took nearly three days of non stop work to complete. he never wants to do another one again.

Its not a gamble i am willing to take, so will give it a miss.
Its on autotrader if anyone is brave enough to take it on![8]
