Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advice here regarding an intercooler pipe issue on my Citroën C5 x7 1.6 HDI.
Earlier this week, I noticed something wasn’t quite right — I was getting significant turbo lag. I’d press the throttle and the car would take a while to respond. At times, it would even shake a bit under load. My first thought was that the clutch might be slipping (car has 210,000 km on it, so it’s getting close to replacement time anyway), but when I popped the bonnet, I found one of the intercooler pipes had burst.
I’ve started looking for a replacement pipe and checking the parts for my VIN found the part reference 0382.LY, which seems to refer to the full assembly — four pipes and the plastic junction piece they all plug into. But I only need one specific pipe.
I’ll attach a picture here:
In the image, it’s clear which pipe I’m talking about. I’m hoping someone here might recognize it and help me identify the exact reference number for just that individual pipe.
I did come across reference 0382.RY, which might be the right one, but I’m not 100% sure. From what I can tell, Citroën seems to only want to sell the whole assembly, which is a bit overkill when all I need is a single pipe.
Any help would be really appreciated — especially if someone’s managed to replace just that pipe before, or knows of a compatible aftermarket option.
Thanks in advance!

Id take all pipes off and throttle body give it all a clean , and the intercooler see if that helps, ebay could be a good place to look as some big motor factors use it now to sell through
Husky.
Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.

I will have a look and see if I can find the part number for you if you tell me the year of the car. In the meantime I have completed temporary repairs on intercooler pipes in the past by binding them with self-amalgamating tape which when applied actually forms a new outer skin around the split. If you do it be sure to clean the pipe with de greaser such as brake cleaner before you apply the tape. It will get the car working while you try to find a replacement hose. Good DIY stores stock it and ebay has it too: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115400272910

I hope this is the right version, it is for cars as specified in the title box. C5 X7 up to a certain RPO:
