Hey everybody
I have a question I hope some of you have the answers for
I want to say English is not my first language so if you don’t understand I will gladly rephrase
My footwell lights in my ds3 isn’t working, the car isn’t in dark mode, the bulbs are brand new, all other lights are working and the fuse is good
I am not getting voltage or power or what you call it, in the wires, can I somehow measure in the bsi box or something? Can it be turned off in the computer or do I just have to give up and accept that they don’t work?
I really hope that some of you have any suggestions
Thanks in advance for everyone that will take their time to read and answer:)

Re: Footwell Lights
Did the footwell lights work when you first got the car and if so did they stop working after you installed something or did some work on the car ?

Re: Footwell Lights
It is possible the car did not have footwell lights when built. If you post your VIN, admin might be able to look up your car characteristics/build sheet to see if it had them when built.

The vin is: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]PaulC5 wrote: 27 May 2025, 21:36 It is possible the car did not have footwell lights when built. If you post your VIN, admin might be able to look up your car characteristics/build sheet to see if it had them when built.
The wiring looks original and there are cutouts for the lamps, but perhaps
The thing I’m wondering is some have said that it is only when dark outside but I haven’t got a clue where the “light sensor” is, I know some cars have it built in the rain sensor but my windshield doesn’t have rain sensor? Could someone have changed the windshield to a cheaper one without rain sensor and that be the problem?
