C4 Picasso 2008
Hello. I have an issue with a Citroen C4 Picasso 1.6 diesel. It cranks but won't start. There is always a code F000 BSM mute on CAN, and after cranking, codes P2148, P1368, P1367, and P1369 appear. I had spare BSM and ECU; I tried changing them, but the problem remains. I did a BSI reset, still nothing. Where should I search, what should I check? I am a beginner, so I am unsure how and which CAN line cables to check. Thanks for your help.

Those are all injector related codes - have you done any work on it lately? Needs a wiring diagram really, but must be something common, duff earth maybe.

Re: C4 Picasso 2008
The engine and gearbox were changed.
I am thinking the same; maybe the ground is bad somewhere, but I do not see anything strange or bad. I can see error codes on the OBD of the BSM, ECU, and BSI, so everything should be connected. I checked the ground of the BSM; all is good. Have no idea

Re: C4 Picasso 2008
Would it be worth connecting a earth directly between the engine and battery to illuminate an earth issue?

Hello. Earth is good; I checked all cables physically and with a multimeter. With the ignition on, one injector pin shows 0.5V, the other pin 0V. When cranking, the same. Should this be the case? I think the injectors are not receiving enough power. I don't know what to check next; I can't find the injector relay or fuse. The immobiliser seems good; there is no red key symbol on the dashboard, and live data shows the key is recognised and synchronised

Re: C4 Picasso 2008
Update: Found the issue. Disconnecting the first injector (right to left) started the car, so the issue is the injector or its plug

Re: C4 Picasso 2008
Nice one, sounds like the injector is shorted and pulling the whole system down.
