Help updating Cactus C4

I'm trying to update my cactus c4, I have downlaoded Citroen Update but after entering my VIN it shows:

"CITROËN UPDATE does not allow the update for this vehicle. We recommend you to access to the website of the brand."

I've tried using the full vin and the short VIN which the car shows as me needing to update the maps.

I have tried the PSA update program but that shows a similar error about my VIN number.

The specs on what the car has installed are below:

Map version:
DbDw_325/Gr_413
CD: 26413

System Version:
SMEG5.41.B.R4
CD: 26413
Dated 05-04-16

I have seen that there are updates on this forum but i'm not sure which one is specifically for my car.

If anything else is needed please let me know

You have the SMEG+ system. I think you're thinking of the NAC system which is different.

Unless you're having a problem with your system in some way I wouldn't update your firmware as you could introduce a problem or, worse, brick the system if it glitches during the update. A remote possibility but it's there.

Thank you for the reply, i'm not having issues with the system it was more so the maps being outdated and i'd rather use the built in system rather than my phone, I look forward to the PM for you
