Fuse Box Map?

Unread post by Wendy_P »

Hi gents,

Apologies if the answer to my question is somewhere here. The search I conducted furnished me with 3228 results and I do not have that kind of patience. So... hubby got himself a Citroen Berlingo 625 LX bluehdi 1.6 diesel 2017. There has been a warning light which has led us down a rabbit hole. We bought a "carpal" and came to a "P16A7 13" which is something to do with the crankcase. I opened the bonnet to see if I could see an obvious loose wire in this section:

1st

but instead found this:

2nd

If you zoom in (hopefully you can) you can see a bloody mouse has been at the wire (Blue one bottom right)
Can anyone tell me what that wire does to see if I can marry it up with a fault code.

Apologies that was long winded.
TYIA

Wendy

Can you check the second link it seems to be broken? Better still, upload the images directly to the site as attachments.

Something to be aware of is that Stellantis don't normally colour code wires (and it is possible that, as cabling passes through connector, the wires may change colours), but they do have a code printed on them every couple of inches or so. Should you fine that blue wire has codes printed on them past them up on this thread, which will help the Forum staff run a search and let you know what that wire is for.

Was no one able to answer my question for me? I'm trying to clear an AdBlue fault. Carpal doesn't work. I'm wondering whether the deteriorated wire is related to the sensor causing the fault to not reset. I just want to be armed with a bit of info so a garage doesn't scam me.

Can someone just tell me what the deteriorated wire connects to. TYIA

I don't have access to a wiring diagram, but this thread at least gives the official code-set criteria for that fault code, have you seen it?

Thanks, yes I had seen that and have identified it on my vehicle. There are no obvious lose wires. The gnawed wire I was referring to is on the fuse box. I was hoping it was related to the AdBlue sensor so would be an easy fix since the Carpal and other "fixes" haven't got rid of the warning. It was low on AdBlue (we just bought it). We put 15ltrs in it and it hasn't reset. The Topdon refuses to clear the fault. I have also tried "resetting" using the ignition key and button.

Have you tried initialising the NOx system?

Edit: I googled it and it looks like I can just detach the battery wait 15 then reattach.
That was going to be plan c after i get hubby to drive it around for a bit.

Thanks all! [-o<

No, that's a BSI reset, which I was also going to suggest.

You need a Diagbox or decent code reader to initialise the NOx system.

You may be able to find a member nearby you who has diagbox and is willing to help diagnose for you - there’s a map on the forum somewhere, with location and usernames.

You might have 2 faults, the one with the fault code and an Adblue one. When our Cactus had a NOx sensor fault it gave a fault code that said it was the sensor and not one that could be a crank case breather heater as in your case.

Is your Adblue giving a message counting down miles that does not go when topped up ? If so it might be a fault that needs a new Adblue tank/pump at around £1000
