It's silly money - up to £62 now. Even an old banger (with MoT) used to be worth a couple of hundred quid years ago, and 20 years ago there was much more rust to watch out for on old cars. I know it has a couple of days to go but the seller will be lucky to breach the £100 mark! It's pretty sad really as the car, at 88k miles, has loads of life in it yet.
Yes I can't understand why he hasn't put a reserve on it because with the tax on it as he says himself it's like paying someone to take it off you. It would be better to run it into the ground, unless of course it has got a terminal problem maybe like the gearbox is going or something a bit much for a pensioner to do.
