C15 speedometer assembly

Unread post by Suffolk-Bobby »

My C15 Romahome is currently under renovation.
The speedo cable was removed by the previous owner as the needle was jumping. I suspect it's a worn out drive at the gearbox end but my knowledge is limited and without a cable I can't connect a drill to test the head. A digital satellite speedo replaces it and although accurate, it does not record mileage.
This will be the last item on the to do list but I have no idea how it is assembled. Could any of you good people provide a picture, a link or an understandable description on how and where the various parts are located and what they are called.
Thanks.

Not familiar with that vehicle, but there is a Haynes manual for the C15 and that would normally describe those sort of items - do you have the manual and is it not in there?

I asked a Haynes manual owner on the small motorhome forum, apparently the information I want it is not listed, (which is why I am asking the question). They suggested I ask on the French Car Forum as the users have a better knowledge.
There is a thread describing removal of the cable from the head on here, but it's the other end I'm interested in.
