help please !!
had an oil leak which i thought was coming from cam-seals, had them replaced along with rocker gasket and timing belt, but still got leak (seems to be coming from back of engine, between turbo and crankshaft pulley) ...any thoughts??many thanks[V]

Sadly, it's probably the head gasket - as they get older they tend to start leaking oil down the back at the timing belt end of the engine as that is where the main oil feed gallery to the head is. You can either live with it, or change the head gasket (no mean feat!) It might be slightly easier in a Rover as the engine may not be canted so far back?

Cheers Richard, took your advice and got car to mechanic..said exactly the same..advised to live with it as car is running ok (for now)..will give engine a wash down and monitor leak..many thanks for your time and knowledge, Neil
