Hi all
I started to install a rear camera to work with the new Android GPS etc unit but found out the reverse lights in a C4 Aircross are in the tail gate and not in the rear light cluster.
Any one know where I can pick up the reverse light wire in the harness at the rear of the car ?
Alternatively, is there a reverse light wire in the harness at the front of the car / radio facia area to work with any factory cameras ?
VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
cheers

Re: 2012 C4 Aircross reverse light wiring
Hi Marc
any chance of a wiring diagram to trace the reverse light circuit
Seems the passenger fuse box seems to have a fuse for reversing lamps.
regards
Mark

Re: 2012 C4 Aircross reverse light wiring
So I found a spare connector in the rear right pillar that seems to be connected to the right hand side reverse light - maybe a spare trailer connector ?
Saves having to run a wire up and down and thru the tailgate.
It comes from the top of the tailgate wiring, so pretty obvious.
You need to pull the start of the rear panels off to get it with your hand (do not to take them fully off, only the first few push in studs).
The right reverse light is the white wire with a silver dash
Of interest, the red wire with silver dash next to it seemed to be a ground but when I used it, the reverse video worked until you pushed the brake pedal on, and then disconnected until you released the brake pedal
