Indicator Issues Citroen Nemo Multispace

Hello, I have a Citroen Nemo multi-space 1.4HDI from 2009. Over the past few days, I’ve a warning light show up with a little message on the dash that says “check rear lights”. I checked them and saw my indicator bulb on the rear right side was very dim, I went and purchased a new bulb but when I opened up the lighting cluster, I could see some corrosion on the connectors where this black wire is leading to, any help on what could cause this or what it could be?

Maybe the connection is poor so has been sparking and getting hot. Give it a good clean back to shiny metal, make sure the contact is good and see how you get on.
