I was looking to do a bit of work on my Berlingo K9 but after jacking up the car at the jacking point the front underside is just a sea of plastic. Am I suppose to remove the under tray to find a hard point for the axle stands?
I've taken a couple of pictures with the wheel on and one with it off. The chassis rails and wishbones were tempting but I have seen them damaged before.

Re: Berlingo K9 axle stand points
When using axle stands I always leave the car jack in place as well to share the weight and help ensure a car will not fall over. Looking at the photos, part of the chassis looks to be reinforced, maybe you could put a stand there. Be careful using a trolley jack since as the arm goes up it does it in an arc, not vertically and can bend the jacking point.
Put some grease on the fastening clips/bolts on the undertray so they do not rust in risking damage as they are undone.
It looks as if the brake pipes have connectors on them in photo 2, not seen this before except when pipes have been cut and replaced. However, it looks right going by this parts diagram https://citroendirectparts.co.uk/produc ... hose-rear/

Thanks for the advice. I'll grease the fasteners for the under tray. I've had that issue before with an old car.

Near the front of the chassis it looks to be double metal but you need to check. Some wood between the stand and car will help spread the load and protect the underseal. Or you could use the trolley jack on the chassis with the wood and then put the stand under the sill jacking point. I would still prefer to use a scissor jack under the sill jacking point (I use one from a C5), keep it in place since it does not take up much room and to use a stand under the chassis with some wood. Then 2 places to share the weight and if one fails the other is still there - maybe over the top but I do this wanting to minimise the risk of getting squashed.
