P2428
Hi All, I'm new to the forum and in need of some help. Hopefully someone may be able to shed some light on my fault. Vehicle is Peugeot Boxer 2.2 HDI L1 H1 4HU 2015. I have a exhaust gas temperature too high fault P2428. Looking at live date the temperature of the sensor at the dpf is 860 degrees with a cold engine (overnight rest), I've tested the wiring from the ECU to the sensor and all is good. I've borrowed a sensor from my friend's van, and I still get the same fault and temperature readings. Is there anything that could cause this sensor to show a high reading or would you suspect the ECU to be fault? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Kez
