Washer jets not working (C4 GP 2017)

Hi,

I just purchased a C4 Grand Picasso 1.6D 120HP from 11/2017, but I'm having some issues with the washer jets.
The washer fluid motor doesn't run when I try to clean my front or back window. Sometimes, however, the front light jets works (which I'm sure is the correct behavior).
At the same time I get a "service light" warning and a text that says that I need to fill up the washer reservoir (which I have done twice). I see no spilling, so I don't expect it to drain. It seems like an electrical issue.

Has anyone experienced this before? No washing AND at the same time a warning about low level of fluid?
Could it be a dead washer fluid motor or maybe a bad levelling sensor?

You'll need to get in to the pump to see there is power to it. The headlamps use a separate pump.

Perhaps the low level sensor cuts power to the motor to save it burning out.
Maybe detaching the sensor wires will allow it to work, depending on how it operates.

Thanks for clarifying that. I suspected that. I’ll definitely try to measure the power at the pump, just haven’t had time. I hoped this was a basic/known issue
