2001 Berlingo 2.0hdi.
Whilst I’m fixing a few things on van, I was wondering if it has central locking fitted. I could just pull off a door panel, but is there a way of telling without doing this ? The key I have has no buttons and the guy I bought it from didn’t know anything much about the van.
I’m thinking is there’s solenoids already fitted I can use them with a cheap remote switch.
Already got one on the alarm/ immobiliser which works well so can use second button for door locks (if fitted)
Central locking or not ?

Re: Central locking or not ?
If it has central locking then using the key in the driver's lock would unlock/lock the other doors. This does not mean it has remote locking though if this is what you would like to know. If you post your VIN admin might be able to look up your vehicle characteristics which could include locking.
