C5A PureTech 180: Stop-Start not working (electrical cause of the electromotor sub-assemly: 64)

Unread post by zakazak »

Hello everyone,

my stop-start didn't work any the number one reason according the the shop was a faulty battery.
So I changed it and also let the shop - initialize the new battery.

However, the S&S still doesn't work and I couldn't find any other issues until I saw this today in diagbox BMS parameters:
Electrical cause of the electromotor sub-assembly not stopping (stop and start function): 64

Image

Any one knows what that means?
VIN: VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Here are some additional screenshots from live data while driving which all look fine:

The "Ancillaries battery charge status: discharged" changes depending on the engine load. So I think this just reflects if the battery is currently getting charged or not.
Because the is also "Ancillaries battery charge status: 90%" and "Ancillaries battery charge status: nominal status".
Also "Battery charge status level: top" and "battery voltage: 14.123" which all look good.

Additional note:
I replaced the EFB battery with an AGM battery and changed battery type "reinforced battery" to "VRLA/VRLA2".

Thanks in advance!

Additionally I can see the following prohibition for stop-start in diagbox:
Stopping authorized by the electromotor sub-assembly (stop and start function): Automatic stopping of the internal combustion engine not authorised

So this seems to be the reason why my stop-start is not working but what is it and how do I troubleshoot it?
