DS5 Door Handles - same at front and rear?

My driver's door handle has never done the hand-sensing unlocking or locking. I've found a few knocking about online, used and painted the right colour.

I'm thinking if I buy a driver's door one from a scrapyard there's a good chance it will already be worn out. But perhaps the back right one might be less worn on most.

I know the front has a lock barrel and the back doesn't, but the handle itself appears to be the same on front and rear. They both have the same light blue connector.

Unfortunately I can't experiment as my right rear one is also duff. So it's possible that the problem lies elsewhere anyway, but I thought a £30 handle would be worth a try.

Does anyone know if just the actual pull handle can be swapped, rear to front?

Thinking out loud now... I'll buy the back one. If it works then I'll buy another one for the back, if not I'll put it on the back and buy a front one.

I think you are right that front and rear are interchangeable. I've got a DS5 and looking at mine I can see no difference at all, the key bit doesn't matter as it's seperate.

I had the same problem with my right (drivers side) rear, it was intermittent and it's the one that unlocks the whole car which was annoying.

I found this on Aliexpress for 49.00 delivered, Citroen wanted 200GBP!

It's a perfect fit for my car (black) and even has Citroen/Peugeot markings on the back. I am certain that this is a genuine product.
