Peugoet Boxer L3H2 2014 2.2 Turbo location.

Hi all new to the forum ,i have a problem with my turbo actuator on my Peugeot Boxer L3H2 2.2 2014 ,it puts up 2 codes on diagnostics which are PO244 AND POO46 i had guy come out to check on diagnostic machine with a live data , he told me the turbo was working but actuator was being intermitant which over 3 thousand rev would throw up engine management ,i took the van to my local garage to be told they phoned there parts people and the turbo that is fitted to the vehicle has the actuator fitted to the turbo so a new actuator couldnt be fitted and setup ,i asked for the name of the turbo fitted in which he told me he didnt know as the parts department had told him that if he brought a generic actuator it couldnt be setup to my turbo ,i have done some reading upon this to find out i need either the number from the actuator or the turbo unit to match up with a new actuator ,then to refit the actuator and run diagnostics on turbo to reposition the actuator not sure if this is correct also does the turbo have to be removed to replace the actuator and if so should i just replace the turbo and actuator at the same time , Also is the turbo on the bottom of the engine towards the rear near the exhaust thanks in advance.

Found the Turbo today jacked the van in the air , wedged right in the middle underneath ,but couldnt see any numbers on either the actuator or the turbo ,whilst i was under there i sprayed a bit of lubricating fluid on the actuator arm to see if it changes anything ,the only thing i can see holding the actuator to the turbo is 3 spline looking bolts but still unsure if i would have to remove everything to get it off ? the only thing on my log book apart from obviously vin number is max net power 96 net power ive noticed when looking for actuators differant varients in power and there is one for 96kwh .

Sounds like I have the exact same issue. I've replaced the actuator for an eBay special at £55. But it still says it's stuck in the diag. Do you also have a knocking noise with this above 2k rpm?
