Hi All,
So i am having trouble with this van,
The faults diagnosed are as follows
BSI internal fault
A short to battery fault
Camshaft sensor fault
P2671, P2670 fault
The van had started but it cut out and won't start again, turns over fine, so i have checked compression, air, fuel filter new, I found damaged cables on the loom in the engine bay, sorted them out. Next i checked all connections and cables going back to ECU and BSI unit.
I took all injectors out, and checked they all work, which they do, all ok, i checked fuel pressure to injectors all ok.
I did notice the fuel pressure regulator valve on top of the high pressure fuel pump was buzzing, when you unplug it and plug back in you hear it click and then a buzzing noise continues, it is getting 9 volts supply to it, i even changed it and still the same.
Next thing i checked, is that i found that injector in cylinder 4, timing belt side is working, i set up a test system on the injectors, if you check each injector 1,2,3 in there cylinder place they are not working, so basically when turning van over only cylinder 4 is working correctly.
The timing has been checked and all ok.
So i am thinking its got to be a problem with the BSI unit or ECU,
But if anyone has had similar issues i would be grateful of ant help.

Re: 2009 Citroen Berlingo diesel van
Has the camshaft position sensor been replaced?
I had mine replaced last year after my car (HDi engine, will be similar to Berlingo), stalled completely once while mounting a hill. They are quite cheap so probably worth doing if you have a mix of symptoms, to see the effect a fully working one has.
