C-Elysee / DS3 Many faults after short cirtuit

Unread post by Sieras206 »

Hi guys,

I need ideas, and i saw other similar topics, but no solutions. So the thing is that i was changing the bulb in sun shader (ceiling mirrors) and as bulbs are small i was using pincers and got a short cirtuit.
After this, starting a car caused many faults:

1. Under inflation monitoring fault
2. Power Steering faulty
3. ESP / ASR system faulty
3. The following dash lights are on Steering, tire inflation, service and ESP
4. The power steering also doesn't work.

I have already checked seperately all the fuses (under the steering, under the hood) and all of them are OK.

Please give some ideas, or if anybody knows a solution.

Check the battery voltage since if low it could give these apparent faults without them actually being faulty. If fully charged it should be 12.7 volts before the first engine start of the day. If below about 12.5 volts it needs charging up.

What was the battery voltage ? You will need a diagnostic to check the abs sensors since there could be a faulty one or its wiring might have a fault.
