Diagnostic tools

Unread post by Vanmanlez »

I have a 2015 Peugeot Boxer Van built as a Campervan and intend to keep this vehicle. (2.2 Puma engine) I would like to have some Diagnostics equipment to help sort out problems when they occur.
Do any on this forum have recommendations for either a Diagbox setup or a Tablet based tool that will work on my Van and provide detailed info on the DPF (Diff pressure/soot/ash) etc together with the option for a forced regeneration and reset on the DPF status?
I have looked at several China Tablet types but end up with a low confidence that they will do what I require.
Are there any comments on the use of Diagbox and a company called EasyDiagnostics as a supplier of same?

I use Fiat Multiecuscan successfully for the body systems
Thanks

While I cannot suggest a computer to use (although I have a Toshiba NB250 for my setup) I can recommend the Easy Diagnostics equipment. They have been around for a while, know what they are doing, and provide an aftercare service if required. Yes, their equipment isn't the cheapest, but it works, and works properly.

Ok, thanks for the recommendation on EasyD, I will talk to them next week. A tablet would have been nice but if its has to be Diagbox then I will get that via EasyD.
Appreciate your time

Remember if using Diagbox as the Relay is Fiat based you will also need the S1279 adaptor to read most of the ECU's

I currently run my Diagbox on a Panasonic G1 tablet which works great.
