2015 C4 grand picasso steering rack

Steering rack on my 2015 c4 grand picasso 1.6 ehdi exclusive has a really bad knock. So im looking to replace it with a different rack and just swap over the electrical part from my current rack. My question is, is there a way to gain acess to the rack without having to strip off front bumper and every part connected to the sub frame. Or will i just end up damaging somthing while trying to lower the sub frame with parts still attached. I've searched all over and cant really find much information on how to remove racks from this model of car so any information will be very helpfull
