Hi people, lovely to be back on the FCF.
I just bought a Boxer and am looking for security flaws in it. I'm getting Hook locks on the rear and side doors and steel handles on the front cab. I will also have a tracker, fake OBD port, Safety film for the front windows, steering wheel and peddle box locks. Is there anything else I might need for these, I'm not asking for ways to break into one as I can imagine this is against the rules. If you can think of anything please add it or PM me. TIA
Boxer security upgrades?

An Autowatch Ghost? Great system, protects from theft even if they steal your keys which will no doubt have the keys for all your other things on the same keyring

Thank you, that's about £500. I'm thinking lots of smaller cheaper systems, but I do like their idea so it might be something for the future!wheeler wrote: 11 Apr 2025, 07:36 An Autowatch Ghost? The keys for all the extra locks will no doubt be on the same bunch as your main key? If your keys are stolen they also have the keys to your other locks. With a Ghost system the van wont start even if you have left the keys in the ignition.
What age is the van?
Is it a motorhome or just a panel van?
Does your fake OBD port have power?

Yes, it has power, the Vans is 8 years old, and it is a panel.wheeler wrote: 11 Apr 2025, 18:50 The keys for all the extra locks will no doubt be on the same bunch as your main key? Fair enough then, was just thinking if it was a £60k motorhome then a Ghost would be a must.
The dummy (powered) OBD socket is a good addition on these as one this age most decent aftermarket key programmers can do an emergency bypass of the immobiliser in around 30 seconds allowing the van to be started without even a transponder chip.
