Hiya,
Want to change oil on c1. Looked on internet and unsure of exact specs I need. Going to buy from Amazon UK so want to match specs to product description.
Any help appreciated
Thanks Matthew

I do not know what engine you have but you could have a look at this topic, bearing in mind it is not up to date and you should ask a dealer since oil specs often change. viewtopic.php?t=75918
Amazon is not always the best place to buy oil unless you want to keep Jef Bezos in luxury. I have bought Total oils a few times through ebay at reasonable prices from tmsautoparts but there are other sellers available. ebay also takes a cut so if you have a local car accessory shop it may be even cheaper.

Thanks @PaulC5
Mine is 2011 petrol engine 1l. Eventually went for Castrol 5W-30 C2. C2 came up loads when put in reg either to internet or Amazon.
Thanks for your time. Looked through the link you suggested and don't really understand it!
Just trying to save money doing it myself

In the linked topic, it explains how to get the engine identification code from your VIN and then use this in the tables to see which oil to use.
if yours is a TU1 engine with code HFX / HFY / HFZ / HFV in the VIN
then it gives the following oils and Citroen specs are ok to use
0W30 Oil B71 2312, 5W30 Oil B71 2290 5W40 Oil B71 2296 10W40 Oil B71 2300

My VIN starts VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] then 9 numbers.
Looking on the driver door label is see no three letter strings
Ahhh. Who decided to have so many oil choices!

Re: C1 2011 engine oil spec
Your vin is hidden on the forum to members apart from yourself and admin. If you just post the letters in the vin and without the V F 7 the engine identification may be shown but the forum sees these 3 without spaces as a vin so I had to space them so not hidden.
