Citroen won't start

Hey everyone, I'm not actually sure on how to use Fourms so hopefully this reaches y'all so I can get some help.

I'm learning about cars so when this problem arised i went completely blank on what to do, anyways I purchased a OBDII scanning tool and the codes are as followed

P0183: Fuel temperature sensor 'A' Circuit high
P0181:Fuel temperature sensor 'A' Circuit range/performance
P1351: Preheater relay

My Car is a 2009 Turbo Diesel Citroen C5 Hdi 1.6 exclusive Automatic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my car just sits there currently and I need to fix it but I'm unsure on what to do. Thanks Billy/Blinky

Welcome. You'll have to give some background info. For example, does it turn over? Did this issue suddenly happen? Has anything been done to the car recently etc? Also a cheap scanner won't cut it with many of the PSA codes.

So it starts and dies immediately within milliseconds, hits 1000rpm and cuts out.
Nothing done, it stalled on a roundabout to which I put it in park and turned the ignition, it made an odd noise and then I tried again and it started, I drove it to my Girlfriends place and parked it on slight slope and it hasn't started since. Battery voltage is fine and all and yeah the codes are as said, fuel related and a relay replace ?? To top that off I have no manual so I don't know what parts go to this exact car. Sorry for the late reply, I do appreciate the assistance.

You can ignore the P1351, that is almost always present and doesn't cause any issue on this engine.

I can't really see why the fuel temperature sensor would cause a no start / run condition, but you never know! However, if you are using a cheap scanner, these can lead you astray. You really need to look in live data - can you do that on your scanner? You want to be able to see the engine RPM when cranking, that the cam/crank synchronisation goes to Yes, and that the fuel pressure rises to above 180 bar. Once you can see which is missing you will get an idea where to look. Generally the only thing that stops these engines in their tracks is a broken cambelt....

You're right that would - but total failure not very common. Fuel rail pressure sensors sometimes fail as well.

So where would I be looking at parts to replace, to fix the problem, I'll replace the fuel temperature sensor but I do not know where it is or what it looks like (no service manual)
Should I replace all the glow plugs and/or the relay plug ??

As I said, I'm not educated and I'm drowning in stress

If you can't see live data on your scan tool then first step is to get a better one that you can. However, if you take the oil filler off you should be able to see the camshaft - get someone else to crank it and see if the cam is turning.
